• RockJock's Front Shock Relocator Kit for the front of JK Wranglers and Unlimited is necessary when a JK is lifted and a high-articulation suspension system, such as the RockJock Johnny Joint Suspension System, is installed. Upon dramatic articulation of the suspension, the shocks can contact the side of the chassis, which can cause bending or breakage of the shocks. By tipping the tops of the shocks outward, they are given the little extra clearance they need not to contact the chassis.

  Again, this applies to suspension systems such as our bolt-on kit, which features 4 standard-length control arms mounted in stock chassis and differential brackets. This information and these components may or may not apply to any given long arm/long travel and triangulated suspension system. The brackets are finished with semi-gloss black powder coat, and the hardware has zinc plating.
