Description:

This is the New hi-clearance GenRight Aluminum Transfer Case (or "Belly") skid plate for a Jeep Wrangler JK with a conventional aftermarket (Not GenRight) suspension (or lift kit) on it.

NOTE: It can not be used with the stock gas tank in the factory location (more information below). It will increase your ground clearance by up to 1-1/2" inches by replacing the factory skid plate with a lower-profile and more heavy duty skid plate. This high clearance, smooth bottom skid plate is laser cut and CNC bent from 1/4" thick 6061-T6 Aluminum alloy. Stronger and thicker than the stock plate to provide strong but lightweight protection to your undercarriage. Fits 2007 - current 2 door or 4 door models. 

NOTES: This skid plate provides the maximum amount of ground clearance possible, but requires some fine tuning of the rear pinion angle to eliminate driveshaft vibration. Requires removal of the factory gas tank and skid plate (as pictured) and switching to our GST8002-2 or a tank in the back cargo area. Average install time is 2 hours and requires supporting the transmission and transfer case to install.
